Recent advancements in technology and the Internet have allowed people to get pretty much everything they need online. The Internet has become a massive media library catering to the needs of those who like getting free stuff. And for people like me, who like watching movies but don’t have enough time (or money) to spend in theaters, being able to watch movies online is a sweet deal.
That being said, trying to watch movies online can be an arduous task if you have no idea what you’re doing. There are a lot of fake movie sites online, so it’s really a hassle trying to find a place to watch your favourite movies. Therefore, I have decided to share some of my best practices in streaming movies.
First, you need to find a decent website to watch movies in. I would suggest going to these websites: www.solarmovie.eu, and www.free-tv-video-online.me. These websites don’t host the videos themselves, but they let their users post links to movies on their website, meaning you will have multiple video mirrors to choose from for each movie. They also check the links regularly to make sure that they are valid, so you won’t have to worry about sorting through the entire mess yourself. You can just sit back, choose one of the listed links on the page, and wait for your movie to load. Simple, isn’t it?
Another thing you need to consider is the type of video player you would be using. Sadly, not all video players are created equally. For this task, you need to find a kind of balance between quality and loading speed. A quick tip: never try to play videos from novamov or any site that uses similar players. It doesn’t allow you to skip to different parts of the film without loading the entire thing, and it takes an awful lot of time to do so. I remember this one time I tried playing a movie in novamov, I left the page open for 2 hours, and it was not even able to load half the movie.
Personally, I would recommend watching videos from putlocker.com, and websites similar to it. The putlocker.com player allows the user to skip to any part of the film without having to wait for the entire thing to load. The video quality and loading speed isn’t that bad, either. In fact, on a 1 Mbps connection, I would only have to wait when loading movies in HD format, and even then I wouldn’t have to wait more than a few minutes. I would also recommend using veevr.com and dailymotion.com, but they’re mostly for anime episodes and movies.
In conclusion, there are several things you would need to prepare for when trying to watch videos online. With the current wealth of information found on the Internet, it is up to the user to be able to come up with the best way to utilize it for himself. It can be really frustrating trying to find a working video of your favourite movie on your own, but hopefully the tips I gave out would help make things easier for us movie fans. Happy watching!
